$600.00 box set from Motorhead...don't buy it. Posted February 22, 2012 by Burnzy

MOTORHEAD IS UPSET OVER THEIR EXPENSIVE BOX SET

Motorhead warned their fans against buying a $600 box set because they're against the cost.

The 15-disc collection comes in a fake skull with red light-up eyes. It features eight early albums, as well as singles, posters and a photo book.

The group's fans got upset over the high price and Motorhead told them they don't endorse the set. They claim it's being put out by a company which owns the rights to the band's early recordings.

A statement from the band said: "Motorhead have no control over what's done with these early songs, and don't want fans to think that the band is involved in putting out such a costly box set."

Bassist Lemmy said: "Unfortunately greed once again rears its yapping head. I would advise against it even for the most rabid completists!"

Driverless cars are on the road...that shouldn't be a problem. Posted February 22, 2012 by Burnzy

HEY! HOW 'BOUT DRIVERLESS CARS?... WHAT COULD GO WRONG?

Nevada is the first state to have self-driving car road rules.

More car manufacturers are working to develop technology that could let someone type in a destination and let the car drive there automatically. Some prototypes have already logged over 160,000 miles in test runs.

The technology is still years away, but lawmakers in Nevada couldn't wait. The regulations have been finalized and the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles will have to come up with licensing procedures for companies that want to test their vehicles in the state.

Dude shops like a lady. Posted February 21, 2012 by Burnzy

(YES, DUDE SHOPS LIKE A LADY)

(According to gossip columnist Janet Charlton)...

'American Idol" judge Steven Tyler gets his rockstar look by shopping in women's stores!

The Aerosmith singer and his fiance Erin Brady shop together, but Steven likes his privacy. He has his people call ahead to upscale women's stores and ask if Steven and Erin can have private time to shop in the store alone for HOURS. Sometimes they're still in a boutique at midnight, trying on and piling clothes on the counter.

Steven loves women's scarves, fancy shirts, extravagant jackets, jewelry. He always spends a lot of money on himself and Erin, so the stores are more than happy to give him private shopping time.

Are you a Nomophobe? I bet you are... Posted February 21, 2012 by Burnzy

DO YOU HAVE AN INTENSE FEAR OF BEING WITHOUT YOUR CELLPHONE?

• Do you feel anxious if your cell phone isn't nearby?
• Does just the thought of losing your phone make your heart pound?
• Do you keep an extra phone on hand, just in case your primary phone breaks?
• Do you sometimes take it to bed with you?

If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then you may be a nomophobe.

Nomophobia is the fear of being without your cell phone, and it's a phobia that's on the rise.

An online survey found that 66% of the 1,000 people surveyed say they fear losing or being without their phone. 70% of women fear losing their phones, compared with 61% of men.

18 to 24-year-olds tend to be the most nomophobic (77%).

According to allaboutcounseling.com, nomophobes can be treated by exposure therapy.

But if it's really bad, you might consider medication.

Once and for all David Lee Roth clears the air on the M&M's! Posted February 21, 2012 by Burnzy

DAVID LEE ROTH CLEARS UP VAN HALEN'S 'NO BROWN M&MS' CONCERT RIDER STORY

Did Van Halen really have a demand on their concert rider in the early 80s that said concert promoters had to pick through all the M&Ms in their dressing rooms and remove all the brown ones?

Yes. And no.

Lead singer David Lee Roth explains that at the time when the demand was made to concert promoters Van Halen was one of the biggest acts in the country and had one of the most sophisticated stage setups to work with and the M&M's clause was worked into their contract for safety reasons.

The band and their management wanted to make sure that those in charge at each venue and the crews brought in to build their sets actually read through the tour rider - which gave all the specifications on what was needed to ensure everyone's safety.

Roth explains that a lot of the arenas at the time had been decades old and not up to code to handle their "super forward-thinking, gigantor, epic-sized Van Halen production."

Diamond Dave also explains that the stories of him trashing a dressing room and doing nearly a half-million dollars worth of damage after finding brown M&Ms were blown greatly out of proportion.

Check out the video of Dave explaining below!
