Today there will be a large asteroid that will JUST miss the Earth. This thing is big enough to level any major city on the planet. It will be only 17,200 miles from Earth today...for example, most of our satellites are 17,200 miles from Earth. So this thing will fly BETWEEN Earth and the satellites. 

Now many in the science community have been asking why we don't have a plan for this. Well, it's because all of our NASA money is now being spent on the rocks of the Middle East, instead of the deadly rocks in space. Holy hell, NASA didn't even discover this beast asteroid, freaking BILL NYE did! SERIOUSLY! 

Try to ignore the ignorant woman in the clip, the point is that Bill Nye is now our space program.
