Bon Jovi played the Rock in Rio Festival in Brazil over the weekend, without drummer Tico Torres after he was rushed to the hospital for a second time with pain in his abdomen. The 59-year-old then underwent emergency gall bladder surgery. A statement from the band said: "This follows an emergency appendectomy last week. He is expected to return to the stage and the Bon Jovi tour in the very near future." Torres also said he was disappointed that he will not be performing, but promised he will "be there in spirit and back on stage soon."
