KABUL (WTAQ) - The remains of a second American sailor who went missing over the weekend in Afghanistan has been found.
According to an official at the Defense Department, a local police official said the body was spotted by villagers. The body of another sailor who was taken by the Taliban was recovered earlier.
The terrorist group had said they were holding the 2 U.S. military members after they strayed into territory under their control south of Kabul. The sailors went missing after failing to return in a vehicle they had taken from their compound in Kabul.
A $20,000 reward had been offered for the safe return of the servicemen.
