APPLETON, Wis. (WTAQ) - Police in Appleton are looking for a suspect after they say a teen was mugged on the street. It happened in the 300 block of East Pacific Street around 9:30 p.m. Friday. The victim, who's 16, says he was walking down the street when the suspect approached him, showed him a knife and demanded he drop his backpack.
The teen ran to a house nearby to notify authorities. The suspect is described as a black male, 5'6", 200 pounds and wearing a gray sweatshirt. Anyone with info is asked to call the Appleton PD.
