BYRON, Mich (WLMI) In Shiawassee County—a 40-year old business is gone, destroyed by fire. Streeter Funeral home in Byron went up in flames around 8 o’clock Thursday morning. Residents arrived on the scene and began removing caskets, urns and whatever else they could salvage from the building. No one was inside the building at the time of the fire. A cause hasn’t been determined.
