KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ) - Authorities in Kaukauna are investigating after a man jumped off the Lawe Street bridge Friday.
Police and fire crews respond to a call around 4 p.m. that a man in his mid 50's had plunged off the bridge into the Fox River.
"The railing is pretty high on the Lawe Street bridge," Kaukauna Police Lt. Jamie Graff told FOX 11. "We're looking at everything, if this was an accident or intentional, we're still sorting through that."
Police say however they believe the man committed suicide. They have not released his identity.
Crews recovered his body about three-quarters of a mile down the Fox River.
