KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Kalamazoo Public Safety says a Portage man was at fault when his vehicle hit one of their cruisers Monday afternoon. Around 5:30 p.m. they say a 33-year-old Portage man shot through a red light at Crosstown and Rose, striking the police cruiser driven by Sergeant Jeff Mack.
The officer was treated for minor injuries while the Portage man was not hurt. He was, however, arrested for driving on a suspended license and cited for driving through a red light.
