DULUTH, Min (KDAL) - A 40 year old Duluth man has been charged with nine burglaries committed during the period between February 13th and May 11th. Michael Peters is alleged to have stolen several thousand dollars worth of jewelry and silverware along with other items in the residential burglaries. According to Duluth Police Investigators, Peters was employed as a newspaper delivery person and became aware that specific homes on his route were temporarily unoccupied. He is now in the St. Louis County Jail and has been formally charged with nine counts of 2nd degree burglary.
