KRONENWETTER, Wis. (WSAU) – Kronenwetter residents may soon be able to legally own three dogs in their homes.
The village board will be taking up their dogs ownership ordinance tonight. Administrator Blaine Oborn says they've been working on this change for several months after getting requests form residents. “People sent us a number of letters asking for the change, especially after many found out the current limit was two dogs.”
The board will also be creating a new local license for fanciers, allowing a number of dogs somewhere between a standard home owner's permit and a kennel permit.
Tonight's board meeting starts at 6 pm.
