WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAU) – Police in Wisconsin Rapids are trying to determine what caused the death of a woman in the city on Wednesday.
Police were called to a home around 11:45 on Wednesday after a 48 year old woman was found pulseless and non-breathing. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman is not a resident of Wisconsin Rapids, and her nearest family is from out of state. A statement released today says the woman was found dead by tenants in the building.
An autopsy and toxicology report are being performed to determine the woman's cause of death. Her name and other information are not being released, pending notification of the family.
