JACKSON COUNTY, Wis. (WHBL) - A Melrose, Wisconsin man has been ordered to stand trial in a shocking case that came to light in Sheboygan County last May. 40 year old Rodney Tollefson appeared Friday in Jackson County Court and waived a preliminary hearing on 36 charges, including numerous counts of sexual assault and incest. The victim, who currently lives in Sheboygan County and came forward last May, told authorities Tollefson had been assaulting her since she was four. That touched off an investigation that covered four counties and led to Tollefson’s arrest. Tollefson remains in the Jackson County jail. No trial date has yet been set.
