TOWN OF BRISTOL, WI (WTAQ) - An 18-year-old Sun Prairie man is facing possible charges, after he allegedly hit a female driver so hard that she went unconscious and drove into oncoming traffic.

It happened Sunday afternoon at a rural intersection in the Dane County town of Bristol.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to what they called a “rolling domestic” disturbance. Officials said the man hit the 18-year-old woman in the face, and then took the wheel and put the car in neutral to get it back under control.

Deputies said the woman tried to escape as the car was slowing down, but the man pulled her hair to get her back in.

He was booked on possible charges of substantial battery, reckless endangerment, intimidating a victim, and disorderly conduct.
