GRANT COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) - A man in southwest Wisconsin is in jail, after authorities said he got upset with his step-father, and then attacked his mother for two hours.
Grant County sheriff’s deputies said the incident happened on Saturday night near Dickeyville.
67-year-old Nancy Ernzen told officers that her 38-year-old son made comments that he would hurt or kill her 67-year-old husband.
Deputies said the son physically and verbally attacked his mother, after waiting to ambush his step-father when he got home from church.
The son allegedly used glass from a window he broke to cut his mother’s forehead. She suffered numerous head and facial cuts.
Officers arrested the son later at a hotel nearby.
