STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) Seniors Jordan Brezinski and Dan Tillema had double-doubles as the UW-Stevens Point men's basketball team beat La Crosse on Saturday 76-60 at Bennet Court.
Tillema led all scores with 24 points and a career high 14 rebounds. Breainski had his fourth doubl-double in his last five games with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
The Pointers (18-4, 11-3) return to action on Wednesday traveling to UW-Oshkosh.
The Pointer women's basketball team extended it's winning streak to six Saturday afternoon beating La Crosse 79-69 at the Berg Gym.
Sam Barber had a career high 34 points, 23 in the second half. Cassie Bandow added 21 points and seven assists.

After winning on Friday, the Pointer men's hockey team skated to a 2-2 tie with UW-Superior on Saturday night at Wessman Arena in Superior. Johnny Meo and Kyle Heck scored the Pointer goals.
Brandon Jaeger had 20 saves for the Pointers.
The Pointer women's hockey team dropped their fifth in a row on Sunday 6-4 to Adrian College. They were swept in the weekend series with the visiting Bulldogs. UWSP heads to Lake Forest Illinois this weekend
