RHINELANDER, Wis (WSAU) A Rhinelander man accused of stabbing his estranged wife will remain in the Oneida county jail, unable to post bond. A judge rejected a lower bond amount for 37-year-old Shannon Wolf. He’s been unable to post $25,000cash bond.
Wolf appeared in court via a video-connection. The judge told him his past criminal record justified the higher amount. He’ll be back in court March 12th for a preliminary hearing.
Wolfe is accused of chasing his wife in a car last week, and stabbing her near the Hodag statue outside the Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce. His wife survived the attack.
