STEVENS POINT, Wis (WSAU) There's another assault case involving a staff member at UW-Stevens Point. A criminal complaint says Christopher J. Robinson head-butted and punched an alleged female victim, and then resisted arrest when police arrived. The incident happened November 12th.
He's been charged with misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct. The circumstances leading up to the incident are not clear.
Robinson works as a developmental specialist at UWSP. A statement from the university says Robinson is no longer on campus, and that the school will conduct its own investigation.
Last year another UWSP staff member was accused of punching a student during a field trip in Lincoln County. Prosecutors there decided not to prosecute Meghan Buckley. She's in a non-teaching position now, and will resign in May.
