GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Brown County sheriff's are seeking reckless endangerment charges against the driver involved in a crash Wednesday night.
Authorities say they got several calls about a minivan driving recklessly around 7:30 p.m. in-and-around Green Bay and Allouez.
Witnesses say the 64-year-old driver was speeding, going through stop signs, and honking the horn with his flashers on. A deputy says the van was then spotten on Highway 41 at speeds of between 90 and 100 miles per hour.
The driver tried to go between two vehicles in the southbound lane and slammed into them.
A 47-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with neck and back injuries from the crash.
When deputies arrived on scene, the driver of the minivan tried to take off but was arrested. Authorities indicate the van hit four other vehicles while on Highway 41 before the crash, but no one else was hurt.
Officials say initial tests show the driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
