Soundgarden will be the next band to take part in the exclusive CBS Interactive webcast series Live on Letterman . The band’s performance will stream live on November 12 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.com and VEVO.com.  That's the day before their new album, King Animal , is released.

During their set at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, the veteran rockers are expected to play some tunes from King Animal as well as a selection of their classic songs.  Following the live event, the concert will be available for viewing on demand at the official Live on Letterman website.  Previous artists who have performed on the Live on Letterman series include Foo Fighters , Wilco , My Morning Jacket and Coldplay .

Soundgarden also will appear on Late Show with David Letterman later that same night.  The program airs on CBS at 11:35 p.m. ET/10:35 p.m. CT.
