BREAKING NEWS / URGENT: The State Supreme Court upholds Act 10, Voter ID, and the state's domestic partnership registry

MADISON, Wis (WSAU)  - The Wisconsin State Supreme Court upheld Act 10, the state law that limits the collective bargaining rights of state employees. The law from three years ago sparked protests at the state capital and led to the recall attempt against Governor Scott Walker. The court's ruling in favor of Act 10 was 5-2. Mosinee groups gathering supplies for Sandy victims

MOSINEE, WI  (WSAU)  -  Mosinee organizations are preparing to send disaster relief supplies to the east coast. 

It’s a joint effort between Mosinee Area Action Club, several Mosinee groups and businesses, and the Lions Clubs in Wisconsin and New Jersey. Their goal is to fill a semi trailer and sent the needed supplies to victims of superstorm Sandy November 18th. The truckload will go to seventeen pantries served by the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. Donations of nonperishable food, formula, diapers, cleaning supplies, and personal hygene products can be dropped off at any Mosinee church and businesses including Charlie’s Hardware and Kafka Granite. Roehl Trucking is donating the truck and trailer for the trip. Cash donations are tax deductible.
