HURLEY, Wisc (WSAU) The race for District Attorney in Iron County is over -- and it was one of the closed races in the state.
Anthony Stella will be the new DA. He won by 4-votes after the final canvas on Monday. On Election Night, the incumbent Marty Lipske had a 3-vote lead. One absentee ballot came in since Election Night. The final vote total also includes provisional ballots.
Lipske could still request a recount. The deadline for that is Friday.
