The Killers are continuing their yearly tradition of releasing an exclusive holiday single. Guitarist Dave Keuning says that the band is almost finished working on the upcoming Christmas track.

“It should be coming out any day, I don’t know when the exact release date is but it’s 99% done,” Keuning tells Tone Deaf . “There’ll be another one for people to have if they want it.”

The guitarist adds that the forthcoming song sounds different from any other holiday track they’ve released so far. “It doesn’t sound like a Christmas song right away, it takes a little while for that element to kick in, but I like this one,” he explains.

The Killers are currently on tour overseas, but they’ll return to kick off the next leg of their North American tour on November 29 at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, CO.
