Despite the success of Blink-182 ’s latest album, Neighborhoods , drummer Travis Barker feels that fans will love the band’s upcoming EP even more.
"To me already, this EP is a hundred times better than Neighborhoods ," Barker tells Rolling Stone . He adds that the band has already created five "really, really cool" new tracks, including a “very folky” song.
"[That track’s] way out,” he explains. “I went in the studio and I was just playing around. I had my electronic kit and I just played a straight drum pattern over it, and it sounded crazy. It changed the entire shape of the song."
While the as-yet untitled EP doesn’t have an official release date, you can expect it to arrive in stores sometime before Christmas.
