WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) A Hatley man who is facing charges in a serious drunk driving crash waived his right to a preliminary hearing, and was bound over for trial on Wednesday. 31-year-old Donald Litza appeared in Marathon County Court, and remains free on $500 signature bond.

Sheriffs deputies say Litza crossed the center line and hit another car on Highway Y last Thursday.

The other driver, 57-year-old Gary Fierek of Hatley, suffered a cardiac episode after the head-on crash.

It's Litza's third OWI. A date for a pre-trial hearing hasn't been set.
