WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) The Wausau EAst Lumberjacks went 69 yards on 12 plays and scored a game winning touchdown with four seconds remaining as they beat Wausau West 23-21 Friday night at Thom Field. The win get East into the WIAA playoffs and also retained the Wausau Log for a second straight year. Cole Nelso hit Adam Urmanksi for the winning score on an 11 yd strkie which saw Urmanski power throught 3 West tacklers to get into the end zone. West had taken their first lead of the game at the 2 minute mark.
It was the 3rd loss in the final minute of a game for the Warriors this season.
