HUDSON, WI (WSAU) - St. Croix County authorities are asking the public to be on the lookout for an escaped inmate. 25-year-old Jesse A. Marske removed his tracking bracelet while on work release from the St. Croix County jail. Marske was scheduled to check back into jail from his River Falls, Wisconsin employer but never returned. He has been unaccounted for since 2:00 a.m. Friday.
St. Croix County Sheriff John Shilts says, “My main concern is that according to court records Marske has a previous sexual assault conviction and although I have no other information that he may be a danger to the community, I must make every effort to keep our citizens informed.”
Marske was scheduled to be released from jail next month, but this incident is likely to add time to his sentence. He was serving a sentence for Disorderly Conduct and Child Support violations.
Anyone with information about Jesse Marske’s whereabouts should contact your local law enforcement agency. Marske has been on the loose long enough to travel most anywhere.
The St. Croix County Sheriff’s Department number is (715) 386-4701.
