STRATFORD, Wis (WSAU) Two people were injured in a kitchen fire at a house north of Stratford on Sunday night. It happened around 7pm on Equity Street. Fire investigators say the fire was stated by the stove, although exactly what happened isn't clear.

The fire was put out quickly, although firefighters stayed at the scene to monitor possible hot-spots.

The extent of the injuries is not known.
