STEVENS POINT, Wis (WSAU) Three people accused of cashing the social security checks of two missing relatives are now facing criminal charges. They'll make initial appearances in Portage County Court today.
Charles Jost, and Delores and Ronald Disher are accused of pocketing the money from Marie and Theodore Jost's social security payments for as long as 30-years. The mother and son haven't been seen since 1982. If she's still alive, Delores would be more than 100 years old.
Portage County sheriffs investigators have been searching for her body at a rural property near Amherst Junction. It's unclear if they've found anything.
The three suspects will face felony fraud charges.
