OSHKOSH, WI (WSAU) - The Oshkosh Corporation has been awarded a contract for services to the Marine Corps. Defense Department officials awarded the contract Wednesday. This is an indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract for contractor logistics support (CLS) for the Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement Vehicle (MTVR).
Oshkosh Corp. will provide the Marines field service representatives, data management with technical manuals and interactive electronic technical manuals, and repair support for the vehicles. One fourth of the work will be performed in Operation Enduring Freedom locations. Most other services will be at Camp Pendleton in California, Camp LeJeune, North Carolina, and at various Navy SEABEE unit locations around the world. Work is expected to finish Sept. 30, 2013. Oshkosh Corp. is expected to earn over 12-million 309-thousand dollars under this contract.
