Referendum question? The answer is NO

by

UNDATED (WSAU) -  Some referendums failed in Tuesday’s election.

Adams-Friendship schools sought to borrow 3.18 million dollars to construct a performing arts addition to the high school and the equipment to go in it. It failed by a vote of 1,601 to 1,061.

The Medford schools asked voters for 5-point-83 million dollars to construct a new pool at the middle school, and convert the existing high school pool into a gym. There was also some remodelling and equipment replacement on that referendum. It failed by a vote of 1,570 to 1,144.

Knowlton residents were asked if they want to have their clerk and treasurer appointed instead of elected. Voters decided to continue electing both positions.
