ST. PAUL, MN (WSAU) - Investigators looking into the apparent homicide of Kira Trevino are now digging into her accused husband’s social media accounts.
Police released details Wednesday about a search warrant used to try and find Facebook posts from Jeffrey Trevino and also from a man who was living in the basement of the Trevino’s home. Police say a friend claims Jeffrey Trevino was sending Facebook messages that included the initials NWNP, which he believes stands for “no witnesses, no proof.”
Trevino’s attorney John Conard claims he hasn’t seen these search warrants. Police have not said if they found what they were looking for in the social media accounts.
Police and volunteers continue searching for Kira Trevino’s body. Much of the search activity has been centered around Keller Lake in the northeast suburb of Maplewood, Minnesota.
