MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ) - A man who graduated from Marquette University 60 years ago has posthumously left $1 million to the Milwaukee law school.
Doctor Robert Olson left it to his three surviving children – also Marquette graduates – to decide where his gift should go.
It will be split evenly between Marquette’s doctorate program for physical therapy – the college of communication – and Marquette’s Division of Student Affairs.
Olsen graduated from Marquette’s school of medicine in 1953.
It’s now the Medical College of Wisconsin.
The three children – Peg, Jane, and Steve – all graduated from Marquette in the mid-to-late 1970’s.
