Fall Out Boy and Yeah Yeah Yeahs are both on track to make a big splash on the Billboard 200 album chart this week.
FOB’s Save Rock and Roll is up for the #1 spot on the tally, with projected sales putting it somewhere around 150,000 copies. If the predictions are true, this will be the band’s second #1 album on the list, following 2007's Infinity on High . Fall Out Boy’s previous album, 2008's Folie a Deux , debuted and peaked at #8, with 150,000 copies sold its first week out, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs is likely to get a spot in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 this week as well. The band’s fourth studio album, Mosquito , is expected to take the #6 position on the chart for racking up 30,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The new Billboard 200 chart's top 10 will be released on Wednesday.
