WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - The 400 Block in Wausau turns Pink this weekend for Rock the 400 Block 2013.
Mid Wisconsin Beverage and Wausau Events are bringing the biggest Pink Floyd Tribute band in the country to Wausau tonight. The band's name is Project Pink. "It's a huge band, there's 11 people that cover the guitar percussion, the vocals and there's a laser light show as well," says Kari Rasmussen, director of Wausau Events.
Rasmussen says you can expect a great show. "You can bring blankets and lawn chairs. Think of it as a Concert on the Square." She says families should leave their pets at home, because of the crowds, and to enjoy the food and drinks from the downtown businesses and vendors.
The show starts tonight with the opening act Doug Kroening & The Railers starting at 6pm. Project Pink takes the stage at 8:45.
