NEW YORK, NY (WSAU) - The former Packer’s backup quarterback cut this week didn’t stay unemployed long. Graham Harrell has signed a deal with the New York Jets.
Harrell had a physical Wednesday and joined the team before their last preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday.
The Jets have three quarterbacks banged up right now, including starter Mark Sanchez, so adding Harrell gives them a bit more depth at the position.
The Jets released center Dalton Freeman to make room for Harrell on the roster.
