RACINE, WI (WTAQ) - Wisconsin State Senator Kathleen Vinehout has been released from the hospital and recovering from multiple fractures to her right arm.

The Alma Democrat was involved in a multi-car crash in Racine Sunday. The snowy weather is to blame for the crash.

A family member says Vinehout is scheduled to visit Eau Claire Monday where she will have orthopedic surgery on her injured arm.

Details into the crash have not been released.
