Rodgers Still A No-Go For Now

GREEN BAY, WI (LEARFIELD-WSAU) Aaron Rodgers has not been medically-cleared to play in Sunday's Green Bay Packers' home game against Pittsburgh.  Rodgers was limited on Wednesday when the Packers started practicing the game plan for the 6-and-8 Steelers.

Coach Mike McCarthy did say that Rodgers looked sharp, threw the ball well, and generally did better.  McCarthy refused to go into specifics about whether Rodgers would get a medical scan of his broken collarbone.

Rodgers said on his Milwaukee radio show he was not scheduled to have one this week -- but he said other factors need to be considered.  And Rodgers the Packers need to weigh the risk of a re-injury against the possible team benefits of making the playoffs if they win their final two regular season games.

Meanwhile, receiver Randall Cobb returned to practice today, and looked good during his limited work.  Cobb's been out since mid-October with a leg injury.

Running back Eddie Lacy sat out practice with a lingering ankle injury -- but McCarthy said it was precautionary, and he expects Lacy to play on Sunday.
