Snowmobile trails open up across Central Wisconsin

UNDATED (WSAU) -- It's a big weekend for snowmobilers across the area as a number of counties get ready to open their trails.

Wood, Portage, and Lincoln Counties will all be opening up trails this morning.

All trails in Wood County open up this morning with the exception of those in the Richfield area. Some of the areas are said to be in poor to good condition and the parks department is reminding sledders to respect the trails and not run off them.

Portage County will be opening up all their trails today after opening up Zone Three earlier this week.

Zones Two and Three in Lincoln County are opening up today. However the section of trail from 3's Company in Merrill south to Henrich's Club is still closed because of standing corn in a field.
