PLYMOUTH, WI (WTAQ) - A man is under arrest for an attempted robbery at a small town convenience store where the clerk activated a panic alarm instead of handing over the cash.
Police in Plymouth said they got a tip about the 25-year-old suspect, and they arrested him Monday after seizing evidence from the man's home.
The attempted holdup occurred Sunday night at Marshall's Westside Pantry in Plymouth.
Police said the man demanded money and made threats -- but he got away with nothing, after the clerk refused to open the cash register.
