ADAMS, WI (WSAU) -  An Adams County altercation has led to the arrest of a Stevens Point man. 30-year-old Otis Kopstein is accused of pointing a 45-caliber handgun at a woman and threatening her last May. The victim claims Kopstein fired a shot out the door before pointing the weapon at her.

Kopstein is charged with 1st degree recklessly endangering safety and with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Electronic court records show Kopstein has past marijuana convictions. The alleged incident occurred last May, but the complaint was filed just last week. He will make an initial appearance in Adams County court February 11th.
