UNDATED (WSAU) There were two tornado touch-downs in central Wisconsin yesterday. Both were in rural areas where only tree and field damage was reported.
Around 4pm law enforcement confirmed a skipping touchdown in Langlade County north of Antigo. It happened near Deerbrook, where it touched down and lifted up several times.
There was a separate tornado in Waushara County near Plainfield around 5:45pm. No damage was reported.
In Merrill some trees were down because of high winds and heavy rain.
