ROTHSCHILD, Wis. (WSAU) - A Mosinee man is under arrest today after a one vehicle crash that knocked out power to parts of Rothschild and Kronenwetter, including the Cedar Creek Mall.

The crash happened around 2:30 on Saturday. Officer Jeff Zwicky says the man was moving at a high rate of speed on Highway XX. "The vehicle struck a light standard power pole, which took out parts of the Rothschild and Kronenwetter power." Around 3000 customers were without power for most of the afternoon.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the crash. Police say the man has been arrested on suspicion of OWI, but are still investigating the case. His name has not been released at this time.
