MADISON, Wis. (WSAU) -- Wisconsin’s Supreme Court decided not to accept a Marathon County case Monday.
Nathan Fisher appealed his 2007 conviction saying he had inadequate counsel from attorney Gene Linehan during the trial. Fisher entered into a plea agreement where he was found guilty of armed robbery and bail jumping. Judge Vincent Howard sentenced Fisher to eight years in prison for his part as the getaway driver for the robbery of Young’s Pharmacy in Wausau.
Justices were not convinced by any of Fisher’s several arguments for a lighter sentence, and affirmed the order of Judge Howard.
