STEVENS POINT, Wis (WSAU)   Stevens Point police are investigating an attempted assault against a jogger. It happened Sunday afternoon around 3pm.

Police investigators say a juvenile female was jogging along Reserve Street near Maria Drive. The jogger was approached by a man asking for directions who tried to pull her into a car.

Police say similar incidents were reported last October in Iverson Park and last December on Prentice Street. Police say joggers from those incidents gave similar descriptions of the suspect and the car.

Police are looking for a white male in his 50s, about 200-pounds, stocky build, with a grey beard. His car is light blue or grey with a red emblem on the hood.
