WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) There was a house fire in Wausau early Tuesday morning. No one was injured, but the home on the 300-block on East Randolph Street suffered heavy damage.
The Wausau Fire Department got a 9-1-1 call around 2am. Everyone inside the home made it out by the time help arrived. They’ll have to live elsewhere because of fire and smoke damage.
Firefighters say the fire was more difficult to fight because of the home’s age. The house was built in the 1880s and had several areas were the fire was still smoldering. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
