GREEN BAY, WI (LEARFIELD-WSAU) The Packers' next home game against Atlanta has been moved from Sunday night to noon on December eighth. N-B-C and the N-F-L have moved the Carolina-New Orleans game to the prime-time spot that day.
The Panthers have won seven straight, and they're a game behind first-place New Orleans in the N-F-C South. That game would appear to have more playoff implications than the Packers and Falcons, with Green Bay fighting for its playoff life without Aaron Rodgers and Atlanta limping along at 2-and-9.
The Packers were never moved out of a Sunday night time slot under the N-F-L's flexible scheduling system until this year. It first happened just over a week ago, when the Packer-Giants' Sunday night was moved to 3:25 in favor of Denver's matchup with Kansas City.
