FDL judge sets bonds for two women in connection with missing man

FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) - A Fond du Lac County judge has denied the release of two women jailed in connection with the disappearance of Timothy Nance.

On Wednesday, Judge Richard Nuss set Eve Nance's bond at $100,000 cash and Tina Ewell's bond at $50,000 cash.

Nance and Ewell were booked into the Fond du Lac County jail on requested charges of obstruction and hiding a corpse. No criminal charges have been filed yet.

Both women filed suit Tuesday, seeking to be released on writs of habeas corpus. Judge Nuss denied that request.

The two are expected to return to court next Wednesday.

Timothy Nance was last seen November 1st, and police believe he's dead. Nance's body has not been found yet.

At this point, criminal charges still have not been filed. District Attorney Eric Toney would not give a timeline for when charges might be filed.
