PARK FALLS, Wis. (WSAU) - Murder charges have been filed against a Park Falls man for the stabbing death of his wife in late August.
46-year-old William Rambo made an initial court appearance Tuesday in Price County Court on a first-degree homicide charge. He is accused of getting into an altercation with his estranged wife Dawn, and then stabbing and slashing at her with a knife. Dawn had kicked William out of their home, and he was trying to resolve the problem when the argument broke out.
Dawn Rambo ran to a neighbor’s home after the August 22nd attack, and a law enforcement officer transported her to the nearest hospital knowing she couldn’t wait for the ambulance. She was dead forty minutes later.
New court dates have not been set for Rambo, but he did request a preliminary hearing before Price County Judge Mark Fuhr.
