Beady Eye ’s Gem Archer is grateful for the support he’s received from fans after suffering severe head trauma from an accident that occurred on August 1. On Thursday, the guitarist posted a note on the band's website to thank fans for their get-well wishes, and let everyone know he’ll be back with the group next month.
“A big thank you from the bottom of my being to everyone for their kind words, wishes, messages and patience over the past weeks,” he writes. “I am on the mend, not gone round the bend and treading carefully whilst taking each day as a giant leap forward. I can’t wait to stand with a guitar in my hand alongside the rest of the boys, on a stage in front of some of you from November onwards.”
Beady Eye cancelled a number of their tour dates in August, including their slot at this year’s V Festival in the U.K., while Archer was recuperating from his injuries. The group’s next scheduled concert is set to take place on November 7 at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin, Ireland.
