KRONENWETTER, Wis. (WSAU) - The bank that owns the Kronenwetter Mobile Home Park is trying to find a buyer.
The property is currently up for an online auction, and village Community development director Randy Fifrick says they're hoping someone will buy it. "If nothing happens with that, it looks like November 23 they'd have an auction at the site."
Anchor Bank and management company Inland Madison are maintaining Bouche's Kronenwetter Park after the bank completed a foreclosure last August. Inland Madison took over the park from Randy Bouche after he failed to correct several code violations that include rotting floors, mold and disconnected pipes.
Only four or five tenants remain on the property, and Fifrick says the village and the county are still willing to help people find help if they need it. "Marathon County would still be able to help folks out that were looking at their options and evaluate what the best move is moving forward."
Fifrick says Inland Madison has complied with the village's stipulated improvements and kept the park up to code in the meantime.
